We are delighted to launch our 2021 Annual Report. A comprehensive overview of the work across IFCA in 2021 is outlined and demonstrates IFCA’s commitment to deliver a range of supports and services to our members.
It is a privilege to report the high level of activity delivered by IFCA and its staff during 2021, a year in which we celebrated 40 years supporting foster care in Ireland, 1981 – 2021. You will see in the ‘Year in Numbers’ an overview of the range and reach of our services including 513 new helpline cases, 96 advocacy cases, 67 learning events with 1037 attendees. This year’s report also includes an overview of the consultations IFCA undertook with Government and Statutory Agencies on behalf of foster carers, and details on all of these can be found in the report.
