Safe care and dealing with complaints and allegations of welfare concerns and abuse

Helping children deal with loss and strengthening the skills of carers to help support the child with this loss All children coming into care experience loss, often multiple times. The workshop will provide a space for foster carers to learn how loss affects children and how to understand the experience of loss for our foster children.


The Irish Foster Care Association (IFCA) is a 'rights based', child centred organisation which promotes family based solutions for children and young people in 'out of home care'.
